180° elbow silicone hoses, also known as U shape silicone hoses, come in two varieties based on their reinforcements: polyester reinforced and Nomex reinforced. Each type possesses distinctive characteristics tailored to meet specific application requirements.
180° Elbow Silicone Hose – Polyester Reinforced
Silicone hose, reinforced by polyester, is very effective for carrying air, water, coolant, or sprayed by small amount of oil mist. It is often found in vehicle cooling systems like cold sides of intercooler air hoses and general industrial applications within the temperature of -50 °C to +170 °C.
Features
- Ideal working temperature: -50 °C to +170 °C.
- Colors: black, red and blue.
- 3–5 ply polyester reinforcement.
- Silicone liner used as a barrier to isolate media.
- UV and ozone resistant.
Remark: Polyester reinforced silicone hose is NOT available for carrying oil.

180° Elbow Silicone Hose – Nomex Reinforced
Nomex reinforced 180° elbow silicone hose is a flame-resistant, high thermal and chemical resistant fiber. At extraordinarily high temperatures, it still maintains its properties without excessive softness. It is especially suitable for turbo boost hoses, hot side intercooler hoses and EGR connectors.

- Working temperature: -50 °C to +250 °C.
- Nomex reinforced 3–5 ply.
- UV and ozone resistant.
- Silicone hose creates a barrier to isolate media.
